Requirement # 1
Responsible young bird hunters 15 to17 years of age with families living on a moderate income that otherwise could not afford to purchase your child a bird dog I maybe able to assit you. I have a special place for as many as I can help in my heart. If your able to afford your own hunting dog then please disregard this offer so to allow me the latitude to reach out to less fortunate youth. With this program we are wanting homes that do not have any hunting dog's. We are not offering this as a means to obtain multiple hunting dog's in any given supposed "less fortunate home". We are attempting to place a few dog's in youth homes that otherwise would not have access to any other pointing dog.
You will not qualify if your family is living in a 100 K to 200 K dollar home / meanwhile driving $35 K to $50 K dollar automobiles either. We may consider extreme circumstances on a real need basis.
Requirement # 2
Parent’s full permission is required prior to contacting me. Your parent must assure me you can afford the cost to feed a hunting dog in addition to keeping up the vaccinations and preventative health care needs. Further you must fully assure me you will give this hunting dog the absolute best of care and treatment. You must agree and further assure me you will feed, water, and care for the Gordon daily and will not miss a single day ever. You need to be fully aware that dog ownership is expensive as well as a lot of work, further the work will continue for the life of the dog.
Then you must work, train, walk, and otherwise interact with the Gordon daily. The Gordon I plan to provide you with deserves this not to mention requires it. The more interaction with you that the Gordon has will go along way towards helping it to thrive the entire time it resides with you. Put in other words, You must take excellent care of this dog 24/7, 365 days a year, no excuses !!!
Requirement # 3
You must be a young bird hunter that lives and loves to hunt birds. Further you must have owned a hunting license from the previous year and already completed a hunters safety course. Then if you meet all the above, you must have your parents call me so they can tell me if you are a responsible individual and inform me of your desire to own your own hunting bird dog. We are limited to a very small amount of people we can help but will do all we can to help young hunters as we can. The ones we do help must be responsible in all area's of pet ownership and spring for the cost of transportation of the dog to them.
If this may interest you we welcome you to contact Daniel Neal at: 1(217)474-8388
Parents: I prefer that you phone me for this offer if at all possible. It's way to time consuming and theres just to much to discuss to do this through use of emails.
